    Hi,
I found this Halloween tutorial on Vandelay Design, and I think it ‘s really great ! The effect with the light coming from the candles is really awesome.
However I’m having some problems with step 18, where you take the lasso tool to delete a part of the light around the mouth and the tooth, it doesn’t work for me. I always have the message “could not execute your request, the smart object is not directly available” (is my translation, I have a Dutch version… Do you have an idea of what I did wrong ? Thanks a lot.

I’m having another problem with the step where you put the black shadow to the pumpkin (just before you add a black rectangle). If I apply the layer mask “reveal all” and I fill it with black, it does just the opposite and delete my background instead of making it black…Have you got any idea what I’m doing wrong there ?
